Here at HP we love what we do, and it shows. We are often laughing over a funny cat video or greeting a familiar doggie face with squeals of excitement. But when it comes to the health of our animals and yours, we're all business. We recognize that proper nutrition is fundamental to keeping your dog healthy and happy. Luckily, being a small business we have total control over the product that comes through our doors. Because of this we carry only the highest quality canned and dry dog foods the industry has to offer. We are proud to say that our large selection of premium diets are ALL corn, wheat, soy and by-product FREE. These ingredients are considered low-quality fillers that many brands will use as cheap replacements to high quality protein and fiber sources. In addition, almost all of the brands we carry have many grain-free (and even potato-free) options. We also offer many foods with "alternative" protein formulas for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergy issues. Below you'll find lists of the of the dry and canned dog foods we carry. However, if you don't see a food you're looking for on this list, let us know! We've packed a lot into our store, but we still can't carry it all. We will happily special order for you any other food we can, or help you find the most comparable healthy alternative.

We have packed our shelves full of the best foods out there. So many options! Which one is THE best? Unfortunately it's not that simple. The pet food industry is a huge, impressive, ever-growing entity. Luckily there are dozens of companies out there that still have the well-being of dogs and cats as their number one priority when creating pet food. As a result, there are dozens of great options. We are here to help you sort through them and find the best one for your dog.
Although nothing can replace quality vet care many pet health issues can be prevented or helped with the right food. But, every animal is different and there is no one solution or cure-all. Whether you have a low-maintenance garbage disposal, or a special needs dog with health concerns, we can show you the best options that will work for your pup and your wallet.

Food Not Working Out How You'd Hoped?
Bring it back!
We want to make sure you are happy with the food we sell you. If for any reason a bag of food isn't working for your dog, please, return it! As long as there is more than half left and you have the original bag, we can refund your money, or better yet find another food that works better! You can also return any unopened cans of food, even if you bought them in a case. In addition, if you think anything is amiss with your food (looks different, smells funny, or it upset your dog's stomach) please let us know and bring it back! Even though we pride ourselves on carrying the highest quality foods (many that have never had a recall) there are always things that can go wrong. It may even just be a formula change. But we, and the food company value that feedback. So please, let us know and bring back the product. Regardless of what you have left, we can often contact the food company to still get you a refund, and they may want the lot number off the food, or the food itself to test.
